Located on a 30-acre property on the Fore River in Portland, Maine, Thompson’s Point is home to Portland’s premier ticketed outdoor-music series.

The four-show 2015 series began with a successful performance by Ingrid Michaelson, and it continued as Primus played the expansive outdoor venue next. With Dinosaur Jr. opening, the ’90s favorites gave fans a one-night festival-like experience. Later in the summer, Thompson’s Point hosted Grace Potter with guests Lake Street Dive. Passion Pit followed in September, rounding out a summer of highly attended shows that drew a diverse audience.

In 2016, Thompson’s Point will host between six and eight events. With a capacity of 5,000 people, the series presents a great opportunity to reach a passionate, active audience of dedicated music fans.

The State Theatre, a partnership between The Bowery Presents and Alex Crothers of Higher Ground, books Thompson’s Point.
